About Me

I love working with people who have a passion for learning about themselves and want to use this insight to create a life that works best for them and for the people they care most about.

I have worked in mental health for over twenty years across service delivery, management, and senior management positions, developing and delivering services to some of the most troubled and marginalised people. My last position was Director of Operations & Development at Julian Support, a charity still very close to my heart.

Whilst I have an abundance of experience to draw on, including specialisms in organisational culture, strengths focused leadership, business strategy & development, and equity, diversity & inclusion, the work I want to do is focused on you!

What is holding you back from having the freedom to thrive in your life?

I have a BSc in Psychology, and I am currently studying for a MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality & Transpersonal Psychology with the Alef Trust.

I have trained in a variety of coaching and transformation techniques including, Neurolinguistic Programming at Practitioner and Master Practitioner Level (Sue Bayliss), High Performance Energetics™  (Charlotte Carter), Trauma Informed Manifestation Coaching™ (The Centre for Healing), and I am a certified AuDHD Coach (ADHD Works). I have trained hundreds of people in Motivational Interviewing Techniques.

I am an Accredited Practitioner in Emotional Freedom Technique (Eda Hardy/ EFT International), also known as 'tapping'.

How did I get here?

In 2025 I realised that I needed to be led by the wisdom of my heart not the fear in my head. I knew things had to change. I felt like I had become the narrator of my story rather than the person living it, and I needed to remember who I was.

This required courage, not the usual distraction and hoping for a different outcome. The courage that meant following my heart, showing up with vulnerability, and facing the fact that I wasn't where I thought I was going to be in life. In all honesty I realised that I needed to change in order to find my true purpose.

But then came the fear. Not the gentle butterflies in the stomach kind, but the kind that comes kicking and screaming. Despite all my years of experience, I was now telling myself I couldn't do it. What did I know? I needed to play safe. Best to stay in my lane. Listen to my head not my heart. Sound familiar?

But when you hear the call to purpose, playing safe isn't really playing safe. It feels more like a slow death. So, I stepped up to the call and listened to my heart.

And that is when I discovered that letting go of ego, limiting beliefs, and all the emotions I'd been clinging on to, meant discovering the freedom to thrive.

'You have to let go of the life you planned if you want to live the life that is waiting for you'

- E.M Forster

A bit more about me...

Ok, so maybe I'm not your usual coach... I might be cut from a different cloth. And I'm good with that!

My values are, justice, equity, trust, accountability, and acceptance. These values are really important to me, they are part of what drives me as human being. My values play out a lot, not just in my work, but how I live and what I do.

I am a creative person (some might say a little eccentric), who believes that the solution is not always located in the problem. I am the founder of:

The Museum of Drugs, a social justice and education charity using a unique collection of historical antiques aimed at re-thinking attitudes towards drugs legislation, click here

and,

Postcards from Time, a quirky random acts of kindness project which sends old postcards back to their original address for the current occupant to enjoy a little piece of history - someone has to...! Click here

If I haven't lost you down a rabbit-hole on drugs history or postcards at this point, I'm also a Blackbelt in Karate, play the guitar, and I am learning Spanish. I love going to gigs especially obscure punk and indie bands. But I have a love for all kinds of music, so if punk isn't your thing and you'd like something a little more relaxing, spiritual, and healing, have a listen to my curated Spotify playlist, click here

I grew up in Kano (Nigeria), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Benghazi (Libya), and I plan to see more of the world and the amazing people, flora, and fauna that I share this planet with. I am lucky to have a wonderful family and circle of friends.
